I'm a hobby artist living in Canada, being mostly self taught the closest I came to a formal art education was a correspondence course I took while still in my teens.
My interest in drawing and painting started at an early age. After spending a few years painting in oils I found that the odor and cleanup time kept me from concentrating on developing my painting skills so I gave it up in favor of watercolor.
While searching for a painting medium I felt comfortable with I took an interest in pen and ink and this continues to be what I feel most confident working in. I also paint in acrylics and am looking forward to producing more paintings in this facinating medium.
Besides painting with a paintbrush, I create digital art on my computer using the graphics software programs Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop Elements and Inkscape. My digital paintings are sold at various online retailers including Imagekind, Zazzle and Cafepress
